Schedule and Directions

Friday, March 16, 2012.

Most teams have RSVP to attend a brief cocktail on Friday March 16 from 8pm – 10 pm. Presentations can be handed-in at the cocktail. Teams not able to attend the cocktail must email presentations by 8pm. The cocktail will be held at l’Assommoir Notre-Dame at 211 Notre-Dame Street in Old Montreal. The venue is located close to the Place D’Armes subway station on the orange line. See map.

Saturday, March 17, 2012.

Teams are strongly invited to stay in Montreal on the evening after the competition on Saturday March 17, for a complimentary diner in town and an evening out in Montreal. The dinner and will be held at Restaurant Globe located at 3455 Boulevard Saint-Laurent near the Place-des-Arts subway station on the Green line. See map.

Hotels

We recommend the following hotels which have good rates during the period of the event and are located conveniently close on the Montreal subway orange line.

  • Intercontinental hotel **** (149$/night), next to subway
  • Novotel Montreal Centre **** (126$/night), 5 min to subway
  • Days Inn *** (87$/night), next to subway

Directions to HEC Montreal

HEC Montréal is located in Montréal, Canada. Please note the map below.

Public Transit. You will be given a free transit pass at the welcome cocktail. You can access the school using the subway system called ‘metro’ and existing at station ‘Université de Montréal’. Use the first exit out of the stairs labelled ‘HEC’ and follow the directions below.

Parking. There is underground pay parking at HEC available on Côte-Ste-Catherine.

Location

Important Please note that HEC has two pavilions. The whole event is taking place on the pavilion located on the street Côte-Ste-Catherine. The other pavilion is located on street Decelles and no event will take place there.
