Three of Canada’s most prestigious business schools, Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business, McGill University’s Desautels Faculty of Management, and HEC Montreal, have joined forces for their annual Business Beyond Tomorrow Conference.

As the current business model is shifting to focus beyond simple profits, organizations are finding new, more sustainable practices to stay competitive and relevant. We want to share these practices with you and together seek solutions for the future.

A unique joining of the student community, corporate society, and socially responsible leaders, the Business Beyond Tomorrow Conference strives to stimulate intelligent discussion between these groups in order to discern best practices to lead the current generation down a more sustainable path.

This year, we selected the theme City-Wide Initiatives. Focusing on four specific, integral parts of city living: waste, food, transport and investment, we hope to better the understanding of what is already being done in today’s urban areas, what is holding us back, and what are the plans for a greener tomorrow.

Join us March 18th for a day to explore cities in a new way and get inspired by our expert panelists and Keynote speakers. Let’s find out what our businesses will look like tomorrow.

Mission:

The mission of Business Beyond Tomorrow is to increase the sustainability literacy of the student community and to highlight businesses that have been driven by sustainable practices. Furthermore, Business Beyond Tomorrow: City-Wide Initiatives is an opportunity to demonstrate that sustainability and economic prosperity need not be mutually exclusive. It is an opportunity to learn beyond the scope of the classroom, through exposure to tangible examples of ingenuity, determination, and success.
